He is survived by: his wife Karen Richard; his children, Rosie Evans of Quincy, Cathy McVey of Abingdon, Michele Bartels (Josh) of Chandlerville, Brad Spears (Linda) of Beardstown, Steve Spears of Beardstown and Mark Spears (Debbie) of Beardstown; and his siblings, Patricia Jolly, Thomas and Jack Spears. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
