“John was a lifelong friend. We enjoyed many great times together including running, 10ks, Indianapolis 500 gasoline ally, boating, snow skiing, and an evening cocktail. He was witty charming and a great friend.. His unexpected turn of events late in life was true setback for such an active person, but he took it well. He always maintained a positive attitude, and never complained about anything. He will be sadly missed, though I know he's in a better place.”
