She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Alvarez and Carlota Garcia; and her sister Manuela Alvarez. She is survived by: her husband Mario Hernandez; her children, Carlos Meda (Yessy Luna) of San Luis and Graciela Jones (Nathan) of Beardstown; her grandchildren, Orlando Meda, Rhueben Jones and Delilah Jones; her siblings, Paulina Chaidez of San Luis and Francisco Alvarez of San Luis; and her pet Chiquita. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
