She was predeceased by : her parents, James William and Lylus Rebe Monger; her husband Garry L. Shaw; and her sister Leta Kathryn Farwell. She is survived by : her nephew Larry Neil Farwell; her children, Barbara Smith of Pawnee, Jason Shaw of Pawnee and Jeremy Shaw; her grandchildren, Tylor Smith, Jason "Cale" Smith, Noah Smith, Kolby Shaw, Cassie Story, Isaiah Shaw, Dominic Shaw, Wyatt Shaw and Piper Shaw; and her siblings, Teresa Fischer (Allen) of Arenzville and Fred Monger (Marsha) of Beardstown. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colwell Memorial (515 S State St, Beardstown, IL 62618).
