He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Southwell and Hazel Walters Southwell; his former wife Ruth B. White; his wife Martha Lee Jacobs; his son Robert Bryce Southwell; his brothers, Robert Lee Southwell and James Dale Southwell; and his grandson Robert Joseph Bryce Southwell.
He is survived by: his son Prentice Southwell (Heather); his sister Mildred "Mickey" Perry; and his grandchildren, Amberlee "June" Southwell and Aimee "Amyx" Southwell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
