She is survived by: her children, Penny Thurman of Beardstown, Teresa Sloop (Tim) of Fernley, John Thurman (Jessica) of Columbia, Vickie Campbell (Troy) of Jacksonville, Matthew Thurman (Emily) of Winchester and Janelle Cervantes of Beardstown; her grandchildren, Jamie Daniel, Seth, Robin Brown, Adam Mortimer, Brittany York, Steven Surratt, Katrina Surratt, Adrianna Thurman, Vanessa Thurman, Gabriela Cervantes, Yuliana Cervantes and Jimena Aguado; her great grandchildren, Mason Sanders, Alexis Brown, Easton York, Everly York, Memphis Anderson, Kashus J. Anderson, Eliana Cortez, Artemio Cortez, Jr. and Xiomara Munoz; and her siblings, Phyllis Summy of Quincy and Charles Randall of Augusta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Beardstown Church of the Nazarene (919 Jackson St, Beardstown, IL 62618). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
