He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Haar and Mildred Haar; his son Justin Haar; his siblings, Ronnie Haar and Carol Duncan; his parents-in-law, Andy and Mary Ann Rakers; his brother-in-law Ray Johnson; his niece Jennifer Haar; and his great-nephew Devon Hollenkamp.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Rakers-Holtgrave; his sons, Josh Haar (Katrina) of Beckemeyer and Jeremy Haar (Gina) of Aviston; his stepdaughters, Tammy Peters (Kyle) of Carlyle, Tracey Hubbard (Brian) of Carlyle and Tiffany Baker (Nick) of Beckemeyer; his grandchildren, Ella, Abree Haar, Conlan, Braelyn Haar, Trey, Kylee Peters, Riley, Liam, Mya Hubbard, Oliver, Lanny and Nicky Baker; his siblings, Josephine Hogan (Jack) of Arkansas, Darlene Johnson (Roy) of Beckemeyer, Danny Haar (Lyn) of Germantown and Sharon Peppenhorst (Mike) of Beckemeyer; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Jondro (Dave) of Carlyle, Dennis Rakers (Shelley) of Beckemeyer, Nancy Turner (Mark) of Trenton, Tim Rakers of Beckemeyer, Rodney Rakers (Carie) of Beckemeyer, David Rakers (Cheryl) of Aviston and Denise Hubbard (Rodney) of Carlyle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
