He is survived by: his son David Venegas; his siblings, Thea Urban (Ken), Daniel (late Maureen), Susan Welbourn (Gary), Carole Green (James), Lawrence (Joann), Gerry (late Jane), Richard (Mary Lynn), Laura Boltz, Shawn (late Kathleen) and Katy (Joe, Jr.); and his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Nelson (Green), Bonnie Matthews (Green), Daniel Palenik Jr., James Boltz Jr., Sarah Boltz, Kimberly Silvestri (Welbourn), Steven Palenik, Lawrence Palenik, Shawn Palenik II, Erin Palenik and Richard Palenik II.
A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (7201 S Archer Ave, Bedford Park, IL 60501).
