With sadness, we share the passing of John Zandstra Jr. of Beecher, Illinois. John, born on May 22, 1947, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zandstra and Anna Zandstra. He is survived by: his sisters, Darlene Boersma (John) and Joyce Lenting.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Skyline Memorial Park (24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449).
