He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tawlks and Elvira Tawlks. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Tawlks (Kirsty) of St. John, IN and Tim Tawlks (Tammy) of Yorkville, IL.; his siblings, Anita, Andrea and Wesley Tawlks (Adana); his grandchildren, Chloe, Madelyn and Aaron Tawlks; Kimberly Tawlks.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hack-Jensen Funeral Home (753 Hodges St, Beecher, IL 60401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
