Thomas Wiater Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Wiater of Beecher, Illinois, who passed away on May 3, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wiater and Aurelia Wiater; his parents-in-law, Marge and Gilbert Weishaar; his siblings, Geraldine Wiater and Jim Wiater; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Wiater, Herschel Farmer, Harold Lattz, Nancy Lattz, Wendy Mashek and Mardee Blomberg.
He is survived by: his family Tom; his wife Barb; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Stephanie; his grandson Mason; his siblings, Bill Wiater (Karen) and Sandra Crouse (Mel); and his siblings-in-law, David Weishaar (Julie), Steve Weishaar (Paula), Stan Weishaar, Randi Weishaar (Debbie), Jeff Weishaar (Cindi), Kevin Weishaar (Michelle), David Mashek, Ray Blomberg, Sheri Karstensen (Roger), Diane Farmer, Vana Barbeauld (George), Lona Luebbe (Scott), Lori Simmonds (Mike) and Lonnie Harsy (Derek). He is also survived by his family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hack-Jensen Funeral Home (753 Hodges St, Beecher, IL 60401). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, Uplifted Care of Kankakee, or the South Suburban Humane Society.
