It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca (Becky) Carr of Belknap, Illinois, born in Grand Chain, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wynona Douglas and Genevieve Hanle Douglas; and her brother Gary Douglas. She is survived by: her husband Charles Carr; her daughter Tammara McGuire (Patrick) of Mayfield, Kentucky; her brothers, Gerald Douglas of Georgia and Richard Evers of Belknap; her grandchildren, Shailen Rosenthal of Jackson, Camden McGuire of Mayfield and Dakin Rosenthal of Belknap; and her great grandchildren, Aaris Sullivan of Jackson and Emeri Johnston of Jackson, Missouri. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wilson Funeral Home (300 Main St, Karnak, IL 62956). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
