With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles LaFever of Belle Rive, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Melba LaFever (Breeze); his parents, Gilbert LaFever and Beulah LaFever (Vickers); and his siblings, Willie LaFever, JC LaFever, Wilma Larson, Bobbie Sparks and Naomi Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Vincent (Brian) of Tennessee, Brian LaFever (Ellen) and Tracy Byrd (Marlon) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Chad Pfeffer (Amy), Joshua LaFever, Katie LaFever (Daniel), R. J. Ramos (Katrin), Marielle Avery Ramos, Mary Yielen Ramos, Daniel Byrd and Colette Byrd; his great grandchildren, Lilianna, Rosemary Pfeffer and Euno Ramos; and his sister Janet Thurston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Charles' honor to Mount Zion Church.
