He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Chapin Foster and Frances Miriam Foster of Belle Rive. He is survived by : his wife Catherine; his daughters, Dr. Christie Foster, Dr. Susan Foster and Dr. Julia Gawley of Louisville, Kentucky.; his son-in-law Kevin Gawley; his grandchildren, Katherine Caldwell, Benjamin Chapin Caldwell and Myles Chapin Gawley; and his pets, Junior, Teddy, Bo and Luke.
