She was predeceased by: her husband Col Guy E. New; her son Charles S. New; her father Arthur R. (Grace E.); her brother Jerry M. Green; her grandson Richard Thomas New; her half-brother Jerry R. Green; her son-in-law John L. Loesche; her foster parents, David Thomas and Jacqueline Thomas; Johnnie R. Thomas Blanchard.
She is survived by: her children, Guy T. New (Terrie) of San Antonio, TX, Wanda New of Fairhope, AL, Jacqueline New Loesche (Bart Bergkoetter) of Belleville, IL and Jon "Mike" New (Kathy) of Demopolis, AL; her grandchildren, Guy C. New, Alice Elizabeth New and J. Tyler Loesche (Lisa); and her great grandchildren, Liam A. New, Laurie L. and Levi T. Loesche. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
