Ann Lund-DeMond Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ann Lund-DeMond of Belleville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ann left this world on October 19, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert R. Beese and Anna C. Beese; her former husband Ralph Lund; her siblings, Harold Beese, Helen Gooding, Larry Beese and Charles; and her nephew Jim Hohrein.
She is survived by: her husband Charles DeMond; her daughters, Connie Lund and Carla Becherer (P. Douglas); her grandchildren, Mindi Franzese (Jay R.), Courtney Holtzman (Nicholas), Paul Adam Becherer (Alivia), Lisa Harley (Jon) and Denise Buckley; her pet Bella; Rocky (Nancy), DeMond, Aubrey Parker, Kitty Hohrein and Julie Watkins. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ann's honor may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society (bahs.org) or to an organization of the donor's choice.
