She is survived by: her children, Ron Ernst (Phyllis) of Belleville, Gregg Ernst (Mary) of Oakville, MO, Janet Eilering (Jim) of Sacramento, CA, Carol Elder (Dean) of Millstadt, IL, Nancy Schmidt (Dave) of Smithton, IL and Diane Karlas (Aaron) of Edwardsville, IL.; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Schneider (Knute), Allen Ernst (Rebecca), Abigail Rolland (Brad), Nicholas Ernst (Amanda), Kayla Klein (Max), Ryan Ernst, Jason Ernst (Sarah), Andrea Ernst (Matthew Leibovitz), Brooke Topete (John), Jared Eilering (Charity), Lindsey Rodriquez (Steven), Austin Eilering, Ashley Mueth (Tyler), Erica Kirchner (Cadence), Justin Schmidt (Brenda), Jeremy, Jenna Schmidt, Grant Karlas (Mikayla), Luke, Olivia and Audrey Karlas. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church, the Alzheimer's Association, the March of Dimes, or a charity of the donor's choice.
