It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Boothe of Belleville, Illinois, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Scherer Preston and Wahneta Preston; her husband John Boothe, Jr.; and her daughter Michelle Boothe (John). She is survived by: her son Scott Boothe (Sheri); her grandchildren, Nicholas and Cassidy Boothe; her brother John Preston (Norma); her niece Jennifer; her brother James "Jimmy" Preston (Marilyn); her niece Marla; her sister Mary Wallace; and her friend Diane Maes (Robert). She is also survived by numerous friends, cousins and other extended family.
