He was predeceased by: his father Larry Kania; and his grandparents, Lawerence, Cecelia and James R. Pinson. He is survived by: his mother Gloria; his brother Andrew Kania; his nephews, Steven Valentine and Robert; his niece Cheyenne Kania; his grandmother Joyce Boyer; his godparents, Marsha Pinson Brown and Scott Ellison; his friends, Eric Burns, Demetrius Fields and Colby Gerlach; and his cousin Stuart Thorn. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Epilepsy Foundation, St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church, or Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
