Caleb Kania Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Caleb Kania (Belleville, Illinois), who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 22. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Caleb Kania to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Larry Kania; and his grandparents, Lawerence, Cecelia and James R. Pinson. He is survived by: his mother Gloria; his brother Andrew Kania; his sibling's children, Steven Valentine, Robert and Cheyenne Kania; his grandmother Joyce Boyer; his godparents, Marsha Pinson Brown and Scott Ellison; his friends, Eric Burns, Demetrius Fields and Colby Gerlach; and his cousin Stuart Thorn. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church (200 W Harrison St, Belleville, IL 62220).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Epilepsy Foundation, St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church, or Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
