Carl David Clift Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl David Clift of Belleville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carl David had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Carl David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Borden and Theresa Germaine Clift; and his siblings, James Eugene Clift and Patricia Ortiz-Burton. He is survived by: his wife Janet Deyarmin; his mother-in-law Louise Deyarmin of Punxsutawney, PA; and his sister-in-law Deneen Tugman (Bill) of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
