She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick William Bartelsmeyer; her parents, Amos (Edna) and Harmening; her sister Sherry Harmening; and her brother-in-law Morris Kaufman.

She is survived by: her children, Frederick Bartelsmeyer (Manuela), James Bartelsmeyer (Helen) and Karen Bartelsmeyer; her grandchildren, Amos (Piper), Tilman, Andrew (Lauren), Alex (Rachel), Chris Bartelsmeyer (Megan) and Caroline Johnson (Nolan); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Ellery and Frances; and her sisters, Norma Kaufman and Patricia Brink (William).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Belleville, IL, or to the Belleville Community Interfaith Food Pantry.
