She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Blaies; her daughter-in-law Marcia Blaies; and her parents, Ralph (Lydia) and Goetzman. She is survived by: her children, Gregory R. Blaies of Festus, MO, Susan "Sue" L. Etherton (Douglas) of LeRoy, IL, Michelle "Shelley" B. Miller (Chris) of O'Fallon, MO and Jeffrey T. Blaies (Shelly) of Edwardsville, IL; her grandchildren, Lindsey McCormick (Brian), Katelyn Etherton, Brittany Peterein (Mike), Emily Wetzel (Ryan), Zachary Blaies (Emily), Mason Miller (Karissa), Lydia and Natalie Blaies; and her sister Judy Wilson (Jim). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church (1910 W Belle St, Belleville, IL 62226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church or the American Parkinsons Disease Association.
