She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and Augustine Brown; and her brothers, Jessie James Brown of East St, John H Brown Jr. (Shirley Knox) of St. Louis Mo, Don Juan Brown (Rosalind Brown) of East St and Freddie James Brown of East St.
She is survived by: her husband Carlos A Jones Sr. of East St; her children, Keishia Knox of Belleville, Kimmershae Knox of Belleville, Chareatha Jones of Madison, Robert Lee Knox Jr. (Lisa) of Belleville, Il Vernelle Knox (Latasha) of Belleville and Carlos A Jones Jr. of East St; her siblings, Bernetta Joyce Brown of Belleville and Kevin Lockett of East St; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Knox and Rosalind Brown; and her cousins, Sylvia Ware and Beverly Campbell. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
