She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Phillip and Jane Louise; her siblings, Joseph Gaertner and Barbara Utnage; her goddaughter Jennifer Lynn Utnage; her great-niece Emma Grace Gaertner; and her great-nephew Benjamin Michael Gaertner.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth M. Hancock (Matthew); her grandchildren, Abby, Madison, Sophia and Luke Hancock; and her siblings, Dr. Gene Gaertner (Barbara), Phillip Gaertner (Nerline), Mary Gaertner, Therese Georgen (Andy) and Margaret Eros (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows.
