He is survived by: his wife Marlene F. Marty; his son Kent A. Marty (Gina) of Edwardsville, IL; his granddaughters, Ellen Bell (Sam) of St. Louis, MO and Mary Marty of Kansas City, MO; and his great grandchildren, Nara and Marley Bell.
Memorials are preferred to "Steven Marty Scholarship Fund" at McKendree University, benefiting students pursuing careers in law enforcement.
