He is survived by: his wife Karen Ross (Loose); his daughters, Michelle Rogers (Matt) and Cheryl DeSplinter (Tom); his grandchildren, Kinsley, Everly Rogers, Catie, Ellie, Jenny, Joey and Davey DeSplinter; his siblings, Juanita Fisher (Gary), Charles Ross and Rebecca Krueger; and his siblings-in-law, John Loose (Sue) and Brenda Stein. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kassly Mortuary Ltd. (9900 St Clair Ave, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Kassly Mortuary, Ltd. (9900 St Clair Ave, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or The American Heart Association in memory of David Ross.
