She was predeceased by: her husband Basil Gantt; her parents, Charles "Kelly" Rettle and Reva Rettle; and her brother Robert L. Rettle. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Kim Evans (Joe) of East Carondelet, IL, Kay Rye of Fairview Hts, Jo Wuebbels (Dave) of Shiloh, IL, Bob Rettle (Trish) of Edwardsville, IL, Peggy Rudock (Lamont) of Columbia, IL and Jayne Rettle of Belleville, IL; her sister-in-law Paula Rettle; and also Carol Rettle. She is also survived by many children and grandchildren; several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home (3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
