He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Moser and Charlotte Moser (Recard); his former wife Martha Ann Davis; and his brothers, Dick Moser and Paul Moser.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Moser (Mary Kay) of Phoenix, AZ, Donna L. King (Bruce) of Newfoundland and Elizabeth Brockel (John); his stepsons, Matthew Fraser (Stacey) of Mascoutah and Joshua Fraser of Mascoutah; his siblings, Elaine Reed of Waynesboro, PA, Jerry Moser of Virginia and Ron Moser of Snow Flake, AZ.; his caregiver Jerry Altepeter; and his grandson Noah Fraser. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
