With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Norton of Belleville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Doris departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Doris leaves behind.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A procession will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Cathedral (200 W Harrison St, Belleville, IL 62220).
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Peter's Cathedral.
