Doris Jean Sullivan Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 5, 2025, at the age of 96, Doris Jean Sullivan (Belleville, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Tayon and Del Tayon; her husband Richard Joseph Sullivan; her son Michael Daniel Sullivan; her granddaughter Aileen Kozsdiy; her brothers, William F. Tayon, Richard Tayon and Tom Tayon; her son-in-law Roger Ficken; her cousin Peggy Aldrich; and her grandmother O'Neill (Bill Aldrich).
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Kozsdiy (Vince); her daughter-in-law Geri Sullivan Ficken; her grandchildren, Courtney Castelli (Eric), Casey Sullivan (Sara), Ryan Kozsdiy and Sarah Fribert (Pete); her sister-in-law Kathy Tayon; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Lucy, Colin Castelli, Isabell, Liam Sullivan, Lilah, Havannah, Isaiah Kozsdiy and Olivia Fribert; and her cousins, Eileen Shannon (Ed), Carol Gnojewski (Len) and Dan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers she would like for any memorials to be made to: Disabled Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Angelman Syndrome Foundation or do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for an unfortunate person.
