It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Gauch of Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence L. Gauch; her son Glenn Gauch; her father Erwin (Thelma "Selma"); and her brothers, Cyrus Nesbitt (Betty) and Elmer Nesbitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Hyde (Robert); her grandsons, Robert L. Hyde II and Matthew Gauch (Julie); and her great grandchildren, Dylan R. Hyde, Jameson Gauch, Claire Gauch, Lexi Gauch, Charlie Gauch and Hazel Gauch.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
