We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Sarmiento of Belleville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alonso Sarmiento; her children, Cynthia Rebecca Sarmiento and Miguel Sarmiento; her grandsons, Gregory Sarmiento and Jordan Davis; her father Richard (Etta); her siblings, Ralph, Richard Burford, Josephine Burford and Frankie Randolf; and her son-in-law Tim Traylor.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen Rigney (Don) of Belleville, IL, Cecilia Miller (Dave) of Waterloo, IL, Maria Traylor of Sebastopol, CA, Carlos Sarmiento of Golden, CO and Sara Davis of Belleville, IL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dammert Geriatric Center at Our Lady of the Snows or the Glaucoma Foundation.
