She was predeceased by: her husband Lyman A. Simpson; her son Gary Simpson; her grandson Scott Obst Jr.; her parents, Frederick (Anna M.) and Schleicher; and her siblings, Ann Piffner, Frank Buechler, James and William Schleicher.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Simpson and David Simpson (Barbara); her grandchildren, Jennifer Dehler (Ben), Casey Clarkson (Matt), Cory McClain (Jordan) and Sean Simpson; and her great grandchildren, Emma Clarkson, Alivia Bunfill, Landon Dehler, Luca McClain and Luna Simpson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Memorials may be made to Christ United Church of Christ or to a charity of donor's choice.
