He was predeceased by: his father Roland Joseph (Catherine Mary); and his sister Janet Spink. He is survived by: his wife Dian Metzger; his daughters, Dina Gromada (Alexander) and Kendra Kaufman (Mathew); his granddaughters, Elaina Gromada (Joseph Millard) and Sarita Kaufman; and his siblings, Thomas Metzger (Mary Beth), Nancy Nordtvedt, David Metzger (Tammy) and Daniel Metzger (Janet). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his brother-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
