He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sims and Elizabeth Ruth Sims; and his brother Kenneth Lee Sims. He is survived by: his significant other Gloria Foreman; his children, DeVon L. Sims, Bryan L. Sims and Adrian L. Sims; his stepson Eric L. Foreman; his sons, Christopher Sims and Markus Sims; and his siblings, James Sims and Vivian Barkley (Eric). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his life long friends.
