She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin McCoy and Elizabeth McCoy; her husband Auston Eugene West; and her siblings, L. C., Sylvester, Herbert, Joe, Nathaniel, Lucille, Elizabeth, Bernice and Ernestine.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joann McCoy, Linda Poindexter (Terrence), Kathy Bolling (Stanley) and Vera Bruce (Curtis); her grandchildren, Gerald, Ebony, Erika, Jennifer, Jamie, Jasmine, Mercedes, Samantha, Jocelyn and Alexsis; and her siblings, Willis McCoy (Mattie) and Arnetha Garth. She is also survived by sisters in laws, several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
