He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Roth; and his parents, Ferdinand Roth and Amelia Roth. He is survived by: his sons, Jim Roth (Lisa), Joe Roth (Jo Ann) and John Roth (Julie); his grandchildren, Alison, Jake, Josh (Kellsie), Jessica (Steven), Emily and Joel; and his great grandchildren, Troy and Sullivan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Due to Covid restrictions, the visitation is limited to family and close friends and will follow CDC guidelines limiting the number of visitors at any one time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, located at 300 N 60th St, Belleville, IL 62223.
