We are sad to announce that, on July 8, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Fern Gromer of Belleville, Illinois, born in Marquand, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas "A. D." Gromer; her sons, Gary Gromer and William Gromer; and her siblings, Jerry Kempfer, Janice Haas, Morris Starkey, Bobby Starkey and Junior Dempsey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Jaco (Robert) of Belleville, IL and Kim Powers (Monty) of Smithton, IL; her grandchildren, Lori Thielemann (Gary), Bill Powers (Tammy), Daren Powers and Monica Henry (Josh); her great grandchildren, Rebecca Thielmann (Alex), Payton Powers, Bryce Powers and Lilynn Henry; and her brother Cliff Starkey (Arlene). She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
