He is survived by: his children, Mark Vernier (Jody) of Smithton, IL, Lesa Nollau (Tom) of Smithton, IL, LaDonna Boyd (Bret) of Shiloh, IL and George Vernier of Belleville, IL; his siblings, John Vernier (LaVerne) of Columbia, IL and Martha Eckert of Las Vegas, NV; his aunt Barbara Reinacher (Vernon) of Troy, IL; his uncles, Paul Zollner of Belleville, IL and Lawrence Zollner of Red Lunds, CA; his sister-in-law Maureen Bauer (Tom); his pet Bonnie Lou; his close friend Marian Vernier Brockel; his wife Barbara Berman; his engine buddies, Dave Kuester and Doug Weaver; Judy Cardella. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, his nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer; an organization Frank's daughter has been actively involved with for the past 12 years. The family has chosen to send donations to American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
