He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred L. Vollmer; his father Frank (Mathilda); and his sisters, Margaret (Ben Wilken), Ann (George Romack), Dorothy (Jerome Korte) and Magdalene (Edwin Hermeling).
He is survived by: his children, Rosemarie Bunch (Clay), Frank Vollmer (Laurie), Janet Munie (Neill) and Kenneth Vollmer (Dawn); his grandchildren, Clara Hansen (Scott), Amy Vollmer (Andrew), Katelyn Stumpf (Derrick), Mackenzie Hanenberger (Kyle), Frank Vollmer (Jaclyn), Wesley Munie (Hannah), Austin Munie, Taylor Vollmer, Cassidy Rhoden (Hunter) and Courtney Vollmer; and his great grandchildren, Aaden, Ashton, Shelbie, Jillian, Mabrie, Paityn, Jaxson, Averie, Millie, Hudson, Anderson and Emerson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eagle Cliff /Miles Cemetery Inc. or to Cathedral of St. Peter, Belleville, IL.
