He was predeceased by: his daughter Marcy Ann Wachtel-Henry; his brothers, Lawrence Wachtel (Mary Alice) and Jack Wachtel; and his parents-in-law, Thomas D. and Marcella E. Bedell.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie; his sons, Jeff Wachtel (Tiffinie) and Jeremy Wachtel; his daughter-in-law Shay Henry; his grandchildren, Alex, Jeremiah, Morgan, Zephaniah, Marcy Ann Wachtel, Caydynn, Caitlinn, Skylar, Riley and Shai Henry; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Wachtel and Mary Jo Riley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, Cathedral Conference.
