We are sad to announce that, on September 25, 2023, at the age of 83, Frederick Blaes of Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert (Anita); and his brothers, Frank Blaes, Cletus Blaes and Marvin Blaes. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane; his children, Jeff Blaes (Jayne) and Stephanie Schiwinger (Mike); his grandchildren, Nicholas Blaes, Michael Blaes and Hailey Schiwinger; his siblings, Ronald Blaes (Sis) and Carolyn Ann Hinson (Charles); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Blaes and Barbara Blaes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Belleville, IL.
