It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Calamease (Belleville, Illinois), who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, James Anthony of Tacoma, WA, Johnnie Anthony (Jovita) of Belleville, IL, Debra Conners of Belleville, IL, Willie Calamease (Roxie), Jessie Dillard, Claudie C. Cox, Ella Gean Calamease and Dorothy Dukes; her sister Lula Bell Harris of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and her friend Donlia McCall (Tiny). She was also cherished by six grandchildren, sixty-three great grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren.
