He was predeceased by: his father Clarence L. Gauch. He is survived by: his son Matthew C. Gauch; his mother Dorothy J. Gauch; his sister Debra Hyde (Bob); his nephew Robert L. Hyde II; and his great-nephew Dylan R. Hyde.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
