She was predeceased by: her husband Roderick "Rod" Alvin Smith; her parents, Kenneth Eugen (Anna Hazel) and Minder; her parents-in-law, O. A. Smith and Gladys Dove Smith; and her brother-in-law A. Wayne Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Hankammer (Richard) and Todd Smith (Kimberly); her grandchildren, William Anthony Espejo Hankammer, Makayla Lynn Smith and Andrew Austin Smith; and her sister-in-law Helen Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220).
