Greg left this world on June 7, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Elmer R. Shaw; and his brother-in-law Kevin Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Laura A. Shaw; his children, Emily A. Shaw (Josh Meyer) and John F. Shaw (Angelina Caride); his mother Bernadine Shaw; his sister Kimberly Shaw Elliott; and his niece Anne Shaw Elliott (David Franklin).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the George Renner and Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the George Renner & Sons Funeral Home (120 N Illinois St, Belleville, IL 62220).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society, a cause close to Greg's heart.
