It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Fitzgerald (Belleville, Illinois), who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Fitzgerald to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert "Jerry" Fitzgerald; her parents, Walter and Anna M.; and her sister Mary Ann "Mutz" Michard (Robert). She is survived by: her children, Gary Fitzgerald (Mary), James Fitzgerald (Nancy) and Linda Mehrtens; her grandchildren, Sara Codella (Michael), Suzanne Gainey (Raiford), Amy Flowers (Jason), David Fitzgerald, William H. Fitzgerald, Tommy Kish (Emily) and Elizabeth "Libby" Schulte (Aaron Cummins); her stepgranddaughter Mysty Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Connor Fitzgerald Codella and Corrine Codella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

CDC guidelines including masks and social distancing will be observed.
