She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee and Stella Allene Arterbury, Sr.; her daughter Sheila Kay Kindhardt; and her siblings, Evelyn Loise Stringer, Charles W. Arterbury, Jesse Lee Arterbury, Jr., Opal Marie Spralt, Irma Jean Symonds, Leon Arterbury and Sylvia Sue Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Russell McCune, Christopher Alan Schwendeman (Renee), Vicki Lynn McCune, Lisa Marie Schwendeman and Leah Michelle Schwendeman; her grandsons, Justin Schwendeman, Seth Schwendeman, Nick McCune, Kody Kindhardt (Murphy), Ian Athas and Aron Athas; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Carter, Kylie McCune, Redmond Earl and Otis Quincy. She is also survived by extended family and great friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Memory and Aging Project at Washington University, an organization that meant alot to Helen, or the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Helen.
