He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. and Viola C.; his wife Susan M. Stolze; his son Henry E. Keeley Jr.; and his brothers, John L. Keeley Jr. and Patrick J. Keeley.

He is survived by: his former wife Patricia "Paddy" Moore Keeley; his children, Linda Shine (Dan) of Bridgeton, Eugene "Geno" Keeley (Anne) of Smithton, Ill., Susan Keeley of Belleville and Christopher Keeley of Belleville; his stepdaughter Andrea Bommarito (Joe) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Michael Shine of Maryland Heights, Matthew Shine (Jennifer) of Bridgeton, Patricia Hawthorne (Cody) of Overland, Bridget Tait (Brian) of St. Louis and Katie Keeley (David) of Chicago; his great grandchildren, Samantha Shine, Lorraine Hawthorne, Isaac Hawthorne and Harriet "Hattie" Tait; and his sister-in-law Virginia Keeley. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
