He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Deveon Martez Cotton (Monica) of Haslet, TX and Demondre Timothy Cotton (Alissa) of Belleville, IL; his grandchildren, Vanessa Loretto, Chelyse Dillion, James IV and Jaecob Cotton; his sisters, Carolyn Keel (James) of Starkville, MS, Ronda Johnson (John) of Belleville, IL, Annette Farmer (Gilbert) of Cahokia Heights, IL, Anita Cotton of Belleville, IL and Karon Hych (Ronald); his sister-in-law Diane Smith (Kenneth) of Leesburg, VA; and his uncle Richard M. Bonner. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
